AION 2 GLOBAL · HALLOWEEN 2026
AION 2’s Trick or Treat event adds seasonal rewards to your daily login and weekly activities. Collect Halloween Pumpkin Coins, choose rewards from the event shop and explore the Candy Key system.
The most useful approach is to decide what you want before spending. This guide covers the main reward costs, coin calculations and practical exchange priorities for players with different levels of progression and available playtime.
Quick recommendation: If you want the Special Halloween Chest, reserve its coin cost first. Then spend your remaining balance on rewards you can use during your planned play sessions.
1. AION 2 Halloween Event Dates
The Global event runs from the October 13 maintenance in PDT until before the November 3, 2026 maintenance in PST. The corresponding European maintenance dates are October 14 and November 4.
Plan your final exchanges before the closing maintenance. For a deadline tied to maintenance, leave enough time to log in, check your balance and visit the event merchant.

2. How to Earn Halloween Pumpkin Coins
Start with Attendance Rewards
Open the Trick or Treat board in the Attendance menu. Twelve entries award 35 coins each, while entries 7 and 14 award 100 each.
Complete attendance total: (12 × 35) + (2 × 100) = 620 coins
Add Weekly Event Missions
The Season Mission Event tab provides additional objectives. The listed missions collectively offer 230 coins per weekly cycle, with a once-per-week-per-server reset condition.
Objectives include combat activities, logging in, obtaining gear and using scrolls. Check your own mission panel to see what is complete and which requirements your character can meet.
Treat the full mission total as a planning ceiling. Your practical target should reflect the content you can access and the time you want to spend. There is little reason to turn an optional event into a checklist you do not enjoy.
3. Selected Halloween Event Shop Rewards
Use the following selection to compare several major exchanges. Confirm the full stock and current restrictions at the in-game merchant.
| Reward | Coins | Purchase Limit | Level |
|---|---|---|---|
| Special Halloween Chest | 250 | 1 per server | 10 |
| Odyle Energy (Bound) | 10 | 4 per server weekly | 45 |
| Lower Abyss Rift Stone (Bound) | 30 | 2 per server weekly | 45 |
| Skin Chest (10 times) (Bound) | 15 | 5 per server weekly | 10 |
| Instant Clear Ticket: Daily Dungeon (Bound) | 3 | 7 per server weekly | 10 |
| Nightmare Dungeon Challenge Ticket (Bound) | 7 | 3 per server weekly | 10 |
The Special Halloween Chest contains the Spooky Scary Skeleton breastplate skin and 10,000 Pet Soul Crystals. Event rewards are non-tradable.
4. What Should You Exchange First?
The following priorities are our recommendations. Choose according to your character’s needs and the rewards you personally value.
For Collectors
Reserve your budget for the seasonal chest if its appearance is your main goal. Review the preview and contents first, then decide how much of the remaining balance you want to allocate to other cosmetic options.
For Active Endgame Players
Compare activity resources with your planned sessions. Before taking an extra entry or resource, identify the content you will use it for and when you can play. Prioritize rewards that support a concrete progression target.
For Casual or Returning Players
Begin with attendance and missions that overlap with your regular play. Keep your initial reward plan small enough to complete comfortably. Once you know your likely coin income, decide whether additional activities are worth your time.
A Useful Spending Question
Ask yourself: “Would I still want this reward if it were the only thing I could exchange today?” This helps separate a useful purchase from one made simply because an item has a weekly limit.
5. Candy Keys and Candy Key Fragments
Candy Key Fragments come from Expedition and Transcendence dungeon rewards. Event Substance Morphs use 60 fragments for a Red, Yellow or Blue Candy Key, with each color limited to one morph per week per server.
Keep a separate plan for fragments and Pumpkin Coins. When choosing a key, inspect its corresponding reward package and compare the contents with what your character needs.
Avoid estimating how many dungeon runs you need from the crafting cost alone. First check the fragment income you actually receive under your current conditions, then calculate how much more you need.
6. A Practical Pumpkin Coin Budget
Here is an illustrative plan for a player who completes the attendance board and wants the seasonal chest.
- Attendance income: 620 coins.
- Reserve for the chest: 250 coins.
- Remaining budget: 370 coins before additional mission income or other exchanges.
Keep part of that remaining budget unspent until you have reviewed your upcoming play sessions. This leaves room to change your priorities without committing to rewards you may struggle to use.
Check Your Budget at Each Reset
- Record your current coin balance.
- Subtract anything reserved for your main reward.
- List the remaining activities you realistically expect to complete.
- Choose exchanges that fit that plan, checking limits and eligibility in game.
7. AION 2 Halloween Event FAQ
Should I complete every event mission?
Start with your preferred reward and calculate the income you need. Complete the missions that fit your schedule and character access, then decide whether the remaining rewards justify additional playtime.
What should I do if I started the event late?
Check your attendance progress and remaining mission opportunities. Build your plan around rewards you can still earn, rather than assuming the full-event totals are available to your character.
Do all event items expire at the same time?
No. The notice gives separate removal schedules, including November deadlines for Candy Keys and fragments and December deadlines for several other rewards. Check each item’s tooltip and removal notice before saving it for later.
Is there one best exchange order for everyone?
Your best order depends on whether you value cosmetics, progression resources or convenience. Choose one main goal, secure the budget for it and evaluate the remaining exchanges against your own plans.
Make Your Rewards Fit Your Playtime
Claim attendance, set a clear reward target and review your exchanges before each reset. A focused plan helps you enjoy the Halloween event while keeping enough time for the parts of AION 2 you already like.
