This event is scheduled for October 5, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time. During this time, players can expect Sewaddle to appear more frequently in the wild, offering a chance to catch its shiny version.

Featured Attack

Players who evolve Swadloon during the event or up to five hours afterward will receive a Leavanny that knows the Fast Attack Shadow Claw. This attack is particularly useful in Trainer Battles, dealing 9 damage, and in Gyms and raids, it deals 6 damage.

Special Research

An exclusive Sewaddle Community Day Special Research will be available for purchase for $1.00. Players can even gift these tickets to friends who have a friendship level of Great Friends or higher, making it easier for everyone to participate in the fun.

Event Bonuses

Several exciting bonuses will be active during the event:

  • 2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
  • 1/4 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in an Incubator during the event.
  • Trainers level 31 and up have a 2× chance to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon.
  • Lure Modules and Incense activated during the event will last for three hours.
  • Trainers can make one additional Special Trade, for a maximum of two for the day, and trades will require 50% less Stardust.

Following the Community Day, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM local time, players can participate in special four-star Raid Battles featuring Swadloon. After defeating these raids, players will see more Sewaddle spawn around the Gym for 30 minutes, making this a prime opportunity to catch more of these Pokémon.

Field Research and Bundles

Community Day-themed Field Research tasks will also be available, providing rewards like Stardust and additional encounters with Sewaddle. Additionally, two special Community Day bundles will be available in the in-game shop.

Stickers

Event-themed stickers can be obtained by spinning PokéStops, opening Gifts, or purchasing them from the in-game shop. Collecting these stickers can add a fun touch to your gameplay!
