The globally popular Pokemon GO Wild Area event is returning in November 2025! This global event spans two full days, packed with new Pokemon debuts, challenging raids, and unique habitats to explore. Here's the complete breakdown of what trainers can expect.

Event Dates & Times

The Wild Area 2025 event will run on Saturday, November 15, and Sunday, November 16, 2025. The event hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time on each day.

How to Participate & Ticket Bonuses

Access to the Wild Area event requires a ticket. Trainers can purchase their ticket either from the in-game shop or the Pokemon GO Web Store.You can also purchase GO Wild Area Ultra Ticket Box at a cheaper price at BuyMMOG.

New Pokemon Debut: Impidimp, Morgrem, and Grimmsnarl

The highlight of this year's event is the debut of an entire new evolutionary line! The mischievous Impidimp and its evolutions, Morgrem and Grimmsnarl, will be available for the first time in Pokemon GO.

You can find them during the event by:

Encountering them in the wild.
Hatching them from 5km Eggs.

Shiny hunters, take note! The shiny variants for all three Pokemon will also be available during the event.

Shadow Raids: Darkrai & Cresselia

Prepare for epic battles! Shadow Darkrai and Shadow Cresselia will be available in Shadow Raids during the event.

To earn a chance to catch them, you must first defeat Team GO Rocket members that have taken over Gyms. There's even a chance to encounter their Shiny forms!

New Habitat Rotations

The event introduces two brand-new habitat rotations, each featuring a themed set of Pokemon.

Lurking Dark Hour

This habitat features Dark-type and night-themed Pokemon. Look out for:
Alolan Meowth, Zorua, Deino, Impidimp, Dreepy, and many more.

Fanciful Fairy Hour

This habitat is filled with Fairy-type and light-themed Pokemon. Expect to see:
Clefairy, Togetic, Ralts, Hatenna, Impidimp, and others.

Mighty Pokemon Return

The formidable Mighty Pokemon are making a comeback for this event. These are not your average encounters:

They are high-level and fully-evolved.
They always have high IVs.
They are likely to be XL or XXL in size.
They are very aggressive and much harder to catch.

On Saturday, November 15, the Mighty Pokemon will include Wigglytuff and Galarian Rapidash.

Other New Shinies

Beyond Impidimp, other Pokemon are receiving their shiny variants for the first time:

The entire Hatenna evolutionary line: Hatenna, Hattrem, and Hatterene.
Unown W will also be available as a shiny.
