CoD: Black Ops 7
Jack
Black Ops 7 Season 1 (launching December 4) brings new maps, a fresh Zombies map, and full integration of BO7 weapons into Warzone. Crucially for players, every Season 1 weapon has a free unlock path: Battle Pass rewards, seasonal events, or weekly challenges. Below you'll find each new weapon listed with the exact method to unlock it and the important in-game details you need to know.
Unlock method: Season 1 Battle Pass — Page 3 HVT reward
How to get it: Complete the rewards on Page 3 of the Season 1 Battle Pass to claim the Kogot-7. You can progress normally with Battle Pass XP or speed up page progress with tier skips or the BlackCell instant unlock features if you have those bundles.
Key notes: Weapon has 39 levels, three Prestige Camos, and an Akimbo Prestige attachment (MFS Kogot-7 Akimbo) that lets you dual-wield the SMG when unlocked.
Unlock method: Season 1 Battle Pass — Page 6 HVT reward
How to get it: Finish all rewards on Page 6 of the Battle Pass. Like the Kogot-7, this is a free HVT reward on its page — earn it through normal progression or use tier skips if you prefer.
Key notes: The Maddox RFB returns from earlier Call of Duty titles as a fast, aggressive AR. It has 43 levels, three Prestige Camos, and a 13” MFS Echo-Fire Barrel Prestige attachment that affects the weapon’s second-bullet fire behavior.
Unlock method: Week 1 reward (complete 6 Week 1 challenges)
How to get it: Finish the six weekly challenges that appear during Week 1 of Season 1. Once unlocked, the Ballistic Knife occupies the melee/lethal slot and can be equipped normally.
Key notes: It has 30 levels and three Weapon Prestige Camos. No extra attachments are listed for the Ballistic Knife.
Unlock method: Naughty & Nice Event reward
How to get it: Participate in the Naughty & Nice holiday event and complete the event challenges that lead to the Sokol 545 reward. Event start timing may be seasonal, so watch the in-game event calendar.
Key notes: 39 levels, three Prestige Camos, and an MFS 48 Dread Burst Mod Prestige attachment that converts the Sokol into a six-round burst LMG mode.
Unlock method: Rally Point Event (personal & community missions)
How to get it: Complete the Rally Point event’s personal and community missions. When the community missions are fully completed, the NX Ravager unlocks as a community reward. The NX Ravager functions similarly to a crossbow/bolt launcher.
Key notes: 30 levels, three Prestige Camos, and a Tribolt Prestige Attachment that lets you fire three bolts in succession without reloading.
Unlock method: Mid-season event (Season 1 Reloaded)
How to get it: The Hawker HX arrives later in Season 1, as part of a mid-season event. Complete the associated event tasks to claim the sniper. Details about that event will appear closer to its release.
Key notes: 38 levels, three Prestige Camos, and a Prestige Attachment that enables Tac Stance when unlocked.
Unlock method: Mid-season limited event (Season 1 Reloaded)
How to get it: The Sturmwolf 45 will be given through a limited-time mid-season event. Keep an eye on event announcements to complete the required objectives.
Key notes: 38 levels, three Prestige Camos, and a Prestige Attachment that increases firepower at the cost of recoil control.
Season 1 also introduces new attachments tied to weekly challenge rotations. Attachments are typically unlocked by completing six weekly challenges during the week they debut.
How to unlock: Each week the game highlights new weekly challenges — complete six of those challenges during that week and you’ll receive that week’s attachment as a reward. Because attachments rotate weekly, prioritize the ones that fit your preferred weapons and builds.
